The Meadows at Falmouth

In 2004 EDM worked with KSA Developments Limited, of Phoenix, Arizona, on a comprehensive plan for a mixed use residential community, The Meadows at Falmouth, outside Windsor, one of the first master planned communities in rural Nova Scotia.

The Meadows offers a variety of single family, garden, and town homes all in a well planned suburban setting.

EDM worked with the client to create an itemized list of desirable design elements, then prepared a subdivision concept plan based on site opportunities and constraints and engineering criteria.

EDM executed all tasks related to the approval process including preparation of a detailed planning report to recommend necessary plan amendments, submission of formal applications, and facilitation of the public consultation process.

The Meadows includes architecturally designed housing, walking trails, an engineered pond for storm water retention that will enhance summer walks and provide winter skating opportunities.
