Solar Aquatics

Solar Aquatics Systems (SAS) duplicate, under controlled conditions, the natural purifying processes of fresh water streams, pools and wetlands. Using greenhouses to enhance the growth of mirco-organisms, algae, plants and aquatic animals, wastewater flows through a series of clear-sided tanks, engineered streams, and constructed marshes where contaminates are metabolized or bound up in the soil. The technology has been applied to the treatment of sewage, septage, and boat waste.
