Consultation

EDM works on the premise that changes to the land need not harm the environment. To that end, EDM begins a consultation by bringing in all interested parties, and experts from relevant disciplines with a goal of reaching agreement on “what are apples and what are oranges.”

For a private client or a public project, everyone involved with, or affected by a development is invited to sessions to generate and discuss alternatives. These discussions allow EDM to identify and rectify possible impediments, or where there is value, and to assess the feasibility of concepts. They also give EDM the opportunity to provide sound technical and financial rationale for decisions to be made.

EDM works with its consultants to identify and assess all possible outcomes, the costs and benefits, and seeks a collaboration that fosters a strong sense of ownership in a project.
